Problem facing Indian football

I think the biggest problem that Indian Football is facing is that no-one wants to take football as a career.
Parents Don't Want There Kids To Become a Footballer. Parents need to encourage there kids and they would do if there kids interest is in Cricket but not in any other sports here in India(although my parents wanted me to be a sportsperson but unfortunately i had a treble injury). I played for my school football team at every level and during those days i have seen allot of good players playing alongside me few of them were so good i thought they could play for India national team, even know when i go and watch some young kids in inter school events there are some really good ones out there but one thing i noticed is that no-one really wants to take it as a career and no-one really dreams to play for India which is very sad. While Mom-Dad will come to watch there kids play in a cricket match in any school level completion in case of football no-one is really interested.

No One Dreams To Play For India
While Euro 2012 had record breaking viewers watching Italy and Spain final in India. No one really cares about when Indian National team is playing. While kids now a days dream or wish they could play for top European team like AC Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich etc, most of them don't even know the name of prestigious Indians football clubs like Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, JCT mills etc. Players like C.Ronaldo, Messi, Pirlo, Boffon, Klose, Kaka, Beckham etc are household names in India among football lovers but no one knows who Denzil Franco, Sunil Chhetri, Mehtab Hussain, etc are.

Coaches
The Coaches at school level are really bad some who are PT teachers made in-charge really know nothing about the game. This would never help any kid to grow as a footballer
